Chachi's room

This home was built in the 2000’s making this home fairly new. It’s a 2 story 3 bed/2.5 bath home with a fully fenced in yard, Security system, Outdoor furniture, BBQ, Laundry units, and of course wifi. This home is hidden away in a nice neighborhood conveniently located about 15 min from downtown Chattanooga.

You will have a private bedroom and bathroom, bathroom is not attached to the bedroom. Your room will come furnished with a queen bedroom set (no Tv provided). Currently it is an older set but I am hoping to get brand new furniture delivered before you arrive once my current roommate moves out. If it does not arrive before then, I ask that you please understand new furniture will be brought in at some point (hopefully soon depending on stock).

There is a complete kitchen set but feel free to bring your own as there will be some space to add your stuff and store food as well. Please be mindful that if you intend to use dishes, pots, pans, and utensils provided that I would like them washed in the sink and then put into the dishwasher. But I have no issues with you using any kitchen equipment as long as it’s cleaned like mentioned.

If you do not like dogs then this is not the place for you as there are two friendly pups that reside here already.

Hey there! My name is Chachi and I live here with my two pups. My main off time passion is to go to the gym. I do however enjoy going out in town, hiking, fishing, and volunteering at the farm; along with many other things. I served 5 years in the Marine Corps, so of you’re a vet chances are we will get along. If you’re not supportive of the Military or First Responders we probably won’t get along. There’s lots of things we will learn about each other and I absolutely can not wait but, I’d like to take this space to go over some house rules.

I am fairly clean and expect you to be as well. I am understanding that messes will be made and sometimes we forget or are running late and don’t clean. I do however expect common areas to stay clean, specifically the kitchen as this is where I have had issues with most roommates. Your bathroom and room will be your responsibility to clean.

Please do not pile up trash, plates, dishes, or food in your bedroom. I’ve had some very disgusting experiences with roommates and would not like to experience that again.

If you want to invite people over I’m perfectly fine with that but please let me know ahead of time, I will also be respectful to you and let you know if I have guests over.

Food and drinks in the kitchen are not shared unless we specify to each other.

My dogs do not get any people food, dog food, or treats without my permission. Please be respectful of that. If you want to let them outside while I am away that is perfectly fine but please watch them, especially at night. To be safe I’d prefer if they went out as little as possible without me.

I work night shift so when I come home my dogs will be excited and more than likely wake you up by barking as I park the car. I apologize in advance and ask you take that into consideration when deciding to move in.

Also, if you are head strong on a specific political party or just favor one (Right or Left) please let me know. I am able to communicate and be civil toward people of both view points but I find it easier to get along with like minded individuals. I would rather not have political arguments so to prevent this just be honest about your views upfront, you never know maybe we have the same views!
