Hi! I am looking to rent two rooms in my landlord’s 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom house in the Raleigh historic Oakwood/Oakdale area starting September 1st. It is a year lease.

5 minute drive to downtown (I still walk it too though) /5 minute walk to Person Street Bar area. Rent for the smaller room is $708/month and $733/month for the medium room(utilities not included but are usually about $75-$100/month). The bedrooms for rent share a bathroom. The house is furnished but individual room is not. This house is seriously so awesome - super close to everything, huge backyard, easy street parking and we have a wonderful landlord as well!

I am 29 and looking for roommates in their late 20s-early 30s as well. I am a super active person so probably playing some type of sport 4-5 times a week and work from home 3/5 days so looking for calm/respectful of sleep people during the week. Preferably women but open to men as well who are clean/tidy and liberal leaning/ LGBTQIA+ friendly! Hopefully we can be friends too and go for walks, share meals, watch tv together etc.! Must be very dog friendly (sorry no cats due to allergies!) as I have a slightly timid pupper but warms up quickly with treats 🙂. Sadly no other dogs unless you get permission from the landlord.
