Linda's room

An upstairs room in our farmhouse in the Arcata bottoms about 4 miles north of Arcata. We are vaccinated, bipoc friendly, and have a non cigarette smoking drug and alcohol free atmosphere. The house is shared with 4 other people. Room is for one person only, and rental lease agreement is month to month We have 2 bathrooms with showers only. Owner will allow only one car per person on the property. We have 1 cat and no other animals are allowed on the property. Rent currently $260 month to month, due on the 1st of the month. Security deposit is $250. Utilities include drinking water, electricity, propane, trash and recycling pickup, and run about $160 per month each due along with rent on the 1st of the month. We have no laundry facilities, dishwasher, and need to buy drinking water. We have central heating with propane and try to conserve energy and keep the house at around 65 degrees. There is no cable or fiber optic internet service in this area like Sudden Link. TV and Internet are available with Satellite connections for each service or data plan. Approximately $120 plus per month each service. There is no wireless WiFi here. Hardwired router connections only. Cell phone hotspots are OK. Gaming or streaming is limited due to data transfer rate.

Our household is quiet, respectful, and open to multi cultures, folks, identities, and co-operative in regards to household chores, composting and recycling. There is organic garden space and treated and filtered but not purified well water. Rental application with references and income verification required
