About the room
My roommate is getting married, so I’m looking to find someone to live with me in our spacious 2 bed/2bath apartment.
Location: A quiet, residential part of Uptown Hoboken, about 25 minutes by transit from midtown. A few short blocks from shops and restaurants (only 4 blocks from Trader Joe’s!).
About Me: I am a teacher, quiet, and neat. I’m told I’m a really nice guy, and a great roommate! I don’t smoke or go out much, but I do spend a lot of time at my girlfriend’s apartment in Brooklyn. I enjoy working out and live music.
The Apartment: The apartment is about 1,000 square feet with a huge living room, and the bedrooms have double closets.
The unit has central AC, dishwasher, laundry in building, garage parking available for an additional $200/month.
One important note: Roomies.com won’t allow the option, but the security deposit is 1.5 month’s rent, not just 1 month’s rent.
Who I’m looking for: A non-smoker who is respectful, honest, and tidy. Someone friendly but independent.
