NO PETS (as I already have dogs and a cat), COUPLES OR KIDS (visits are totally fine). No smoking of anything indoors (except vape, lol).

Pretty decently close to UOR (less than 8 miles), CSUSB (less than 10 miles) and even UCR (less than 20 miles). Address is Highland (92346) but we’re on the San Bernardino adjacent side and there is a small community park (walking park) down the street. I work from home so I am looking for someone who is either a student or working professional. References and employment/school verification will be required.

The room is partially furnished with a Queen size bed with plenty of linens available. You’ll need to use your own pillows because pillows are an intimate item. Nice size mirrored closet space too. It also sports a standard size 2 door 4 shelf bookshelf/storage unit inside the room. If it’s not needed, I can move it to another room. I have a Smart TV for the room but will need to be put where roomie would prefer. Room is lacking a dresser. There are 3 windows in the room (faces the front of the house) so there is plenty of natural light.

The bathroom is a shared household bathroom.

From the outside, the house looks pretty large, but it’s quite simple and modest on the inside. There is a back patio but roomie would need to go through my office to get there….or side gate along garage, I don’t mind either way.

In the living room I have a TV with cable.

Utilities are included in the rent. This Summer was interesting as this house maintains its coolness but there will be some days when the AC will be a must. Utilities include all of them as well as WiFi which roomie will have access to.

I have communal type/family style tendencies, if there’s anything in my pantry or fridge that you need, feel free to partake. I’m not a huge cook which means the house will hardly ever smell badly, lol. I cook very simple meals and I also don’t use plates, I am a paper plates person (good quality, not cheapy). I know it’s bad for the environment, I realize that but my life requires easy everything.

That being said, the kitchen is tiny compared to what I’d have preferred and have limited cabinet space available but we can make it work.

Regarding laundry room, I’m a faithful Gain person. If roomie is ok, they won’t need to buy detergent/fabric softener while here.

I have a young male (24) renting one of my spare rooms starting in October. He is a sweetheart of a young man, well mannered and hard worker.

I myself am a work-from-home professional and have been doing this for over 11 years now. That requires me to have peace and “quiet” while I work during the day which is why I’m looking for either a student or working professional. I also have 2 dogs which makes it hard to work in silence, lol. I have a female pittie and a female small dog and a cat too (almost forgot about her). If you are afraid of dogs, they will sense that and it won’t work out. If you’re allergic to pets, sorry.

I have a large family (I’m of Mexican descent) and while I do not host parties, they will sometimes be here but roomie will be given ample notice if I am expecting them. My father comes to visit every few weeks or so. The house is not an entertainment/hosting type house. Like I said above, it’s super modest on the inside and has no yard, so no parties.

I am a Christian which only means that you’ll probably hear my music and see my crosses on the walls……but that’s all. I’m not a Bible thumper and definitely not one of those, “do you want to go to church with me?,” or “do you know Jesus?”, types of people. I believe in peaceful coexistence. I sometimes go to church, sometimes do church on YouTube (streaming) and sometimes don’t do either, lol.

I sometimes listen to music or the TV too loud and that’s just because I have a small bit of hearing issues. HOWEVER, if it’s ever too loud, just let me know. I love to sing, so sometimes I’ll just start singing out of nowhere, lol.

I am not looking for a friend or buddy type of situation…..I become friends with my roommates naturally, not forced. I know it’s awkward moving in to someone else’s house, I’ve been there myself. I will say Hi/Bye in passing, not rude, but very polite. LOL.

Details now: I am a 47 year old female, living “alone” for almost 10+ years now and in that time have only had 5 roommates, the last one being with me for 5 years. I come from a musical family. I’m waiting for the family piano to be delivered and I’m relearning how to play guitar this year, or at least that is my goal.

I have two adult children (26/28) that live in LA and visit me, but mostly I go see them.

I am an open book and super transparent, polite and respectful but will stand up for myself. If there is anything you want to know, please ask.
