About the room

ROOM AVAILABLE AS OF MAY 2024

The home was recently purchased and is largely unfurnished. Appliances such as kitchenware, washer and dryer will be included.

Property Details:

The property is conveniently located in front of the Dignity Health Sports Park Stadium and California State University Dominguez Hills. As for local attractions, there is an assortment of dining options all around and the Carson Mall shopping center is no-more than 5 minutes away. In terms of commuting, there is a bus stop directly across the home and all highways can be found extremely nearby.

Utilities:

All utilities will be included in the rent. Holding conversation regarding any abnormally high bill charges would be greatly appreciated.

PS: Lily and I are both avid gamers/anime-enjoyers so this house will have the fastest service available -on me.

About the roomies

About Myself:

My name is Peter (27 M). I am a part-time student looking for roommates who hold steady jobs and can consistently pay their rent in a timely manner. My day-to-day mostly consists of school and work therefore I mostly keep to myself but I am more than happy to socialize with anyone planning on living with me.

About My Roommate:

My roommate’s name is Lily (33 F). She is a very welcoming person and overall good company. Lily is the proud owner of Chip Chiperson, her well-mannered feline, who will be existing somewhere by a door and/or window.

About Pets:

We have one indoor cat that I plan of letting roam around the house on occasion. Since the house is located on a main street, I would ask anyone planning to live here to be mindful of him when entering/leaving the property. If you need to keep any main doors leading outside open for whatever reason, always notify me so I can get chip out of your way.

Please note that because we have this one cat, I would rather not introduce another animal into his environment. This however can be negotiated.

About In-House Social Etiquette:

I have grown accustomed to staying up late due to studying therefore, I am understanding of peoples’ need to be up after hours -whether it be chilling in the living room or cooking past midnight. All I would ever ask regarding nocturnal activities is to be mindful of others in terms of noise level. Cooking noises, tv noises and/or chatting is okay but blaring music/shouting is obviously a no-go. As for cleanliness, I am a person who likes to immediately pick-up after myself so it is also expected of my future housemates -especially around the kitchen (please try NOT to leave dirty dishes in the sink, food thats’ gone bad in the fridge, unattended laundry etc).

About Guests:

With the property being a single-family home, I would like to maintain its space readily available to myself and official renters -both for crowding and safety concerns. That being said, should you bring a stranger into the home, please keep their presence to a minimum. Occasional visits are more than welcomed; frequent overnight stays are not.
