After a busy day at school or work, you want to come home to a friendly, relaxing and healthy retreat to rejuvenate and enjoy your down time. Perhaps you’d like to dine at one of the fine neighborhood restaurants, stop at one of the highly rated food trucks or share some home cooked paprika chicken, fresh biscuits or shepherd’s pie straight from the oven. On weekends, you might want to invite a couple of friends over for dinner and a movie on the 120-inch home theater with surround sound – or play board games.

Maybe sometimes you’d like to walk or jog in the safe, peaceful neighborhood; or would enjoy hopping on your bike and getting on the 45SW bike trail within a couple of minutes, speed on the Veloway, or prefer the unpaved Slaughter Creek Preserve Trail. Or you’d rather just stay home and try yoga, Pilates, or join me with a workout video in the spacious living room.

Perhaps you’d prefer to just chill on the patio overlooking the greenbelt where you can birdwatch or spot the occasional deer or silver fox. It’s also a great place to plug in your laptop and get some work done outdoors. My roommates and I are friendly, respectful, clean, and quiet. So, you won’t have trouble relaxing, studying or focusing on work anywhere in the house.

If you do join us, your room will come with a private bathroom, and you will have your own parking spot in the garage. A furnished option is available. Lawncare, pest control and biweekly house-cleaning are included in the rent. We will share utilities.

I am a male UT graduate student who enjoys cooking and likes to play board games. I am fairly quiet and keep my environment clean. I am easygoing and tend to get along with most everyone.

The other roommate is a female UT graduate who is currently working on UT campus. She is a self-described nerd who loves animals and is a dinosaur enthusiast. She enjoys birdwatching and the outdoors. She is artistic and enjoys drawing.
