Furnished room in beautiful one-story home with comfortable queen bed, TV with cable and several premium channels (Prime, ESPN, Netflix, Disney+), and adjacent private bathroom. (This bedroom has been used as a guest bedroom.) Shared kitchen, living and dining rooms, porch, and washer/dryer. All utilities including basic TV and internet included. Located in green, very walkable, gated dog-friendly community of IslandWalk, this home has sunset water views and a private pool with expanded-view cage and spacious lanai. Near SCF Venice, Braves stadium, and West Villages Publix. Housemate would have sponsored access to community amenities (including gym, lap pools, resort pools, and tennis/pickleball/bocce courts) and social events as well as a bi-weekly farmer’s market. Driveway parking only; some garage space for a bike. No smoking, vaping, or recreational drug use or excessive drinking; females preferred. House has 3/3 bedrooms and baths plus an office – only one bedroom is available for rent. Housemate MUST be able to get along with others – no drama political or otherwise, please. Month to month preferred.

Two quiet and (relatively) healthy senior sisters in their early 70s and a cranky senior cat. (I am cat-friendly, but the cat may not be.) Retired diplomat (fluent Spanish, limited French and other languages) and a semi-retired saleswoman. Occasional family visitors.
