This large very charming 3 BDR/ 2 Bath SPANISH DUPLEX 1600 sq ft. is large, peaceful, light and bright, and has all the beauty of how things were made in the 30’s. 2 tiled bathrooms and tiled kitchen, cute built ins, and pretty light fixtures, etc..Not like an average apartment with lots of tenants nearby. There is just one downstairs neighbor beneath me so it really feels more like a house. I fell in love at first sight when I walked in the door to this upper duplex apartment. It has hardwood floors throughout (carpet in bedrooms) There is permit street pkg on lovely wide family oriented street blocks from shopping and cafes. such a cute walkable neighborhood! I use two bedrooms and I am the only other tenant. I had a roommate for 5+ years but she moved back home to TN. Large Bedroom for rent has its own small private deck facing west to enjoy the sunset. the room is about 14.5’ x 12.5’ itself. Private tiled small but full bathroom as well. there is also a shared outdoor space in the back yard that could use some TLC but its there to use. I have lived here 7 years now and love it! The neighborhood is amazing and walking is great around here. Trader Joes across the street. Walk to the third street farmers market, The Grove, Erewhon natural market + whole foods etc (Located just west of Labrea between 3rd and Beverly is the general area.) I found this place with a very good friend 7 years ago. we lived together until mid 2020 and Covid/being near family was the reason she moved back home to TN. I really love this place so Im trying to find a great roomy so that I can continue to stay here. I like my home to be quiet and peaceful, not a party pad, not always having people over. That’s an important thing to note about this duplex. If you’re very social and have people over a lot this is not the place for you. From time to time I have a friend over or a collector over to view my art but I like my home to be very peaceful since I work and create art at home most days. Im looking for a roommate who wants something similar. A peaceful quiet place with lots of good energy to call home. No overnight guests, please. Apartment is very close to all transportation, great shopping +cafes within walking distance. A great fit for me would be someone who works out of the house since I work at home. I do like things clean, and for the common spaces to be kept tidy. I am looking for a roommate who can be tidy around the common spaces. Im not a neat freak and can be ok with some clutter here and there but the kitchen and common spaces I prefer to be kept clean for everyone to be happy. housekeeper perhaps? not required tho. Non-Smoker only pet free house tho i love animals I’m Vaccinated / Boosted..looking for the same. Im open to finding someone who wants to live here for 6 months to a year or be long term if it is a great fit..but roommate will need to have stable income with excellent credit. Lease term is month to month

I am full time professional 48 yr. old female artist (painter that works at home) Im originally from LA but have lived in Northern California and I do travel there in the summers + Fall quite a bit for extended periods of work. I am Respectful, very responsible, friendly, love to laugh, positive attitude ,emotionally mature seeking same in a roomie. I would love to find a roomy that enjoys a bit of hang time together but this is not always necessary, just want to know that it can be enjoyable and easy to be around each other and share some social time around the house tho it isn’t required. I like my quiet down time~ and Im sure you do too:)

I use no major chemicals in my work so if you’re sensitive to smells you wont really notice except for the walls have lots of art:) I work in water based materials only.
