Hello, I’m Alicia. 38 and live on the border of La Mesa/El Cajon. I have a room coming up available, May 1st. It’s in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. I currently have another male renter occupying the room, and another gal in the other room. I have a 13 year old pit bull named Roxy and an 8 month old chihuahua name Rexx. The room would be considered, semi-private, because there’s a doggie door in the room, that leads to a back area for the dogs to take care of business. So that means, you must be ok with keeping your door cracked so the dogs have access to the back area. If you’re a light sleeper this may not be ideal for you. This may not be desirable for many, but it’s also worked out with all of my renters in the past. As odd as it may sound, I sleep in the living room. I always have, so I rent out the rooms here.

I work in the animal medical field, but am currently looking to get into something else. The room is furnished with a futon. You’re welcome to bring a bed, but the futon will still be in there. The past renters have had a Queen sized bed in there. I just put up a 40 inch television There’s no cable, however there’s Wi-Fi. We use Roku and Chromecast. I’m in no way a neat freak, but expect that everyone would share in bathroom duties (guys, no peeing on the floor) and keeping the kitchen clean, as a shared area. Responsible drinking isn’t an issue. No smoking in room. There’s a private patio area for smoking with a grill available for use. There’s a laundry room on site. Public transportation is close by with a bus stop right around the corner or the trolley/transit about a 10 min. walk away. If you don’t know the area, it’s El Cajon, so no, it’s not paradise, but I’ve been here 5 years and i’m still alive. The neighbors are all friendly. We’re pretty calm around here, enjoy a few drinks from time to time.

I can be contacted anytime through e-mail, though text or calling is faster. PLEASE NO CALLS OR TEXTS AFTER 9 P.M. * No teens kicked out of their houses, parents trying to get rid of their teens, couples, nudist, people that get paid next month, married or attached men looking for an alternative place to bring their “lady friends”.
