Clover's room

I have a room for rent in my 2 story home in Brewer. The home was purchased and renovated a year and a half ago after moving here from Texas. The home was built in 1835 and has lots of old charm made fresh with some modern renovations. This will be a private room with shared access to the majority of the rest of the house and an en suite half bath. Rent is $1200 with all bills included, the rent portion of that payment being $750. A more thorough breakdown of the bills will be provided to those interested. The home has 1.5 baths, a large backyard, large unfinished basement for storage, and all new fixtures and appliances, including a nice dishwasher. The kitchen is large with a gas stove and plenty of counter space for those who like to cook! The home will be shared with one cat, who loves people. Additional pets will be considered on a case by case basis, but I prefer none to keep my boy comfortable as he is not accustomed to other animals as much.

I’m hoping to find someone who is responsible and reliable and that I get along with well, as I’d love to have a friendly relationship with the person I’m sharing my home with. I’m Non-binary, and use they/them pronouns. I’m a leftist with lots of strong opinions and viewpoints, and tons of empathy and love. I love exploring in the woods and foraging for mushrooms, making art, and just generally hanging out with likeminded people. I’m 420 friendly and frequently use cannabis in the house so comfort and acceptance of this is a must for potential housemates. I like pop-punk and emo music as well as indie pop, bubble grunge, and lots of other genres. I usually have music playing in the house, but would absolutely respect a need for quiet when asked. I also enjoy cooking and like to make new and exciting dishes, and would love to cook communal meals with my housemate if they were into that! I’m a bit eccentric so to speak and have an eclectic decorating style that is carefully curated throughout the house but I welcome collaborative decorating with my new housemate.
