We are a nice, quiet gay couple who have an extra bed and bath for a roommate. I screwed up on the original post and included ‘you’ in the total number of folks here. You’ll only have 2 roommates, not 3, can’t figure out how to change it… The location is perfect, right by 66 and 123 makes an easy commute to Tysons, Fairfax City, GMU, and Washington, DC (last one, as easy as can be, right? :)). The bedroom is furnished; the bathroom across the hall is your own and has a Jacuzzi tub. Rest of the condo is furnished; big tv, comfy living room, dining room; clean kitchen; parking is included in $898 monthly rent (along with all utilities and internet). We’re flexible on the term, so if you only want a summer lease, we can do that. There are tennis courts (rough shape but there), a pool, and a small gym that are also included in the rent. We have a sunroom that you can store a bike in if you’ve got one. The unit is ground-level and is handicap accessible. We’re 2 minutes away from the Fairfax County Connector 466 bus, which takes you directly to the Vienna Metro station on the Orange Line. We’re also about a 5 minute walk from the Metro 2B bus route on Blake lane. On the bus it’s about 10-15 minutes; biking the metro is about 15-20 minutes; driving the metro is 5 minutes. Like I said above, parking in the parking lot is included if your car is up-to-date on registration and tags. Otherwise there’s street parking available. We’re looking for a roommate who isn’t loud (especially after 9:30 at night and before 7 a.m.); is courteous of common areas (does this mean dishes have to be done immediately, no, but please don’t let them sit there for 3 days kind of thing). We’re looking for a non-smoker, with no children or pets (don’t want any of those 3 ruining the furniture). Due to a number of factors, absolutely no drugs will be tolerated in the house, and are ground for immediate eviction. This includes [removed]. Alcohol’s fine, assuming you are of legal age and aren’t [removed] all the time. All applicants will need to pass a background check, which the fee is like $25-50 for. Further, since there are a large number of children in the building, applicants cannot be listed on the Child Predator/Sex Offender list. Past felonies aren’t a deal-breaker, and we can talk about it. Obviously we’re going to be more skeptical if its grand larceny or something :) We’ve got some extra storage space in the house if the closet and under-bed storage isn’t enough for you. The bedroom is 136 x 120 inches, which is 11.33 ft deep from the door to the window wall, and 10 ft wide. We can store the paintings up on the wall if you don’t like them, but you can’t repaint. Your bathroom is roughly 6x6. Other than all the above, only other house rule missing is we don’t wear shoes inside the house. If it matters we put up a Christmas tree in the winter (her name is Priscilla III), and usually have some candy for trick-or-treaters. All renters will be required to have Renters Insurance. Tried to walk you through our condo with the photos; coming in the condo from the sunroom; go through living room; dining room is connected to it; kitchen off to the right (laundry on other side of kitchen behind sliding doors); keep going straight down the hall, your bathroom is on left, room across from that on right; our room is at the end of the hall; closed door. Your closet will be empty; we just wanted to put some things in there to give you perspective on size; likewise the photo with the ruler is an 18 inch ruler to give perspective; perfect spot for a desk, chaise lounge, dresser against that wall. Additional $152 per month for couples.
