I am a 39 year old straight male, non smoker that works for Cargill in the transportation logistics field. I graduated from Iowa State University and follow the football and men’s basketball teams closely. During the season I’m normally on the couch or at the sports bar watching the game. I try and tailgate for a few games each year. I enjoy the local beer scene (there are numerous breweries and distilleries located a short drive away) and I try it make it to the many beer festivals/cocktail classes throughout the year. We brew our own beer as well – not all turn out well… I grew up on a lake in Northern Iowa and enjoy heading back during the summer to relax and take the boat out. One of these years I’d like to learn to sail. I have an extensive DVD collection and enjoy watching movies. I participate in a Sunday fun day bocce league at a local bar as well as participating in a bags league at a local brewery during the summer. I lead a somewhat quiet life while at home but do occasionally enjoy having people over for drinks, yard games, BBQ’s, Iowa State games, etc.

What I’m looking for: Looking for a young professional who is responsible (i.e. turn off lights, clean up after themselves, pay rent on time, has a job, etc.) and somewhat social. Would like to find someone who is able to do their own thing but at the same time would be up for catching a beer, watching the game, or grilling in the back yard.
Not looking for families or couples. No smokers or drug use. Pets will be on a case by case basis – I’ve had a few bad experiences…
