Hi Everyone! I’m an easy-going engineer in my late 20s and I’m currently looking for a roommate to rent out the unfurnished downstairs bedroom in my townhouse. My hobbies include gaming, playing board/card games, being social, trying new foods, watching documentaries, and learning in general.

You would have your own bedroom, private detached bathroom, and a parking pass for the neighborhood*. Monthly rent would be equal to base rent + 1/3 of monthly utilities (generally low, other than during the summer due to running the AC). Base rent for this room would be $1000/month for a 12-month lease, $1100/month for a 6-month lease, or $1250/month for a month-to-month lease. Internet is free.

You will also have full access to the common areas of the premises: the entryway, kitchen, garage, living room, laundry room, and back patio, as well as select kitchenware.

The neighborhood is extremely safe, peaceful, quiet, and very close to the RSM lake, shopping/dining and 241 toll road, in addition to many nearby places to hike and bike.

An ideal roommate would be someone else who is quiet and courteous. No drugs, 420, smoking (including vaping), pets, working from home, or attending online school from home on the premises are allowed.

You would be living with myself and one other roommate; both of us are young engineers and are both very friendly and quiet. We generally keep to ourselves but get along well.
