About the room

Super important info: NO PETS, GOOD CREDIT REQUIRED, 1 YEAR LEASE.
About the rooms: Both are west facing, same size 9.5x10 (smaller than average), each has a closet, carpet all throughout upstairs (for transparency - there are stains).
About the bathroom(s): The upstairs bathroom is shared between 3 people, there is a shower with tub. Good water pressure. No leaks. Thereβs a half bath on the main floor by the entry.
About the house: Located at the end of the street, itβs very quiet and private. The neighbors are nice but keep to themselves. If you drive, we have a 2 car capacity driveway and a bit of street parking behind. The main road leading up to the house is on a large hill. There is a garage - used for storage, laundry and a home gym. Small back yard with a patio, grill, little garden (the home owner asks that we mow the lawn during the summer). This is not a scent free house (we occasionally burn candles and incense). 420 is ok outside. This home is not ADA accessible. Pictures vary from the current state of the house - we no longer have a dining table (please bring yours if you have one!) and the furniture in the living area has been rearranged. This house has a lot of potential - we would like to fill it with more character and plants!
About the kitchen: We each get 1.5 shelves in the fridge and 3 shelves each in the dry food storage area. Gas stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher all work top notch. Plenty of dishes, pans, cooking & eating utensils, etc. to share. Feel free to add any appliances you enjoy using. We each love to cook and meal prep.
Getting around: Just a few minutes walk to the 7 bus line and a 10 minute walk from the Mt. Baker station will get you downtown in 20 minutes. We have a Safeway, Ross, PCC, many bars and restaurants within a 5 min drive/20 min walk.
We are very laid back here. We value quiet, cleanliness and communication. This is not a party house. We are a mix of introverted and extroverted. BIPOC, LGBTQ, 420 (no inside smoke) welcome - sadly, no pets.
We are fully vaxxed and Covid conscious, we hope you are too!
Our home is managed by a property management company who is firm on having good credit history, or having a co-signer and putting a large security deposit down. The rent will be raised a bit in June. Utilities run no more than $100 on the high end in winter.
Each roomβs rent is $547 (increases to $590 in June) Utilities are split evenly Total move in cost is $1719 (first, last and security) Security can be paid in installments if needed. $50 background/credit check done by management company. All tenants send rent payments via Venmo to Cierra and she mails a check to the management company on the first of every month.
