Hi are you interested in living on a farm-like scenario without being too far from the amenities of the city life? Do you like to see the stars at night and enjoy the peace and quiet? Have you always wanted to start a garden but never had the space? How about an active greenhouse and free-range chickens? Interested in paddle boarding? How about a big fluffy guard dog? Do you like cooking and trying tasty new food recipes with a little bit of spice? Well, you’re in luck! We have all that and this might be the place for you! Welcome to my small farm in the making. We are approximately 15 minutes from downtown Olympia and Lacey and 20 minutes to JBLM. My housemate and I are conducting interviews for consideration over the next few weeks. We prefer someone with eclectic tastes in food and a co-op mindset that is tidy but not OCD (that means we cleanup regularly but we also live here). We prefer no pets or ESA do to previous issues with our livestock but can make exceptions if your doggos are trained and good around livestock and large dogs, no cats because of feline allergies and cost of clean up. Dog exceptions can be made on a case by case with training certificates/verification and other factors and deposit Let me provide some need to know stuff: This is a single occupancy fully furnished 29’, 5th Wheel Luxury style RV with Smart TV and access to the main house kitchen and common areas as well as access to all the amenities on the farm including the gym, kayak and paddle boards. Utilities are included (Septic, Water) but the electric is metered and charged by use. If you have questions, please reach out.

Currently it’s me, the giant polar bear pup, and my 2 housemates and we have different schedules. I have a typical 6-3 with occasional out of town work and the others work retail. We are hoping to find someone that is a good mesh with our personality and is chill and considerate as well as comfortable with a giant dog and a few chickens. We keep the place clean and tidy and try to balance things that need to get done on the farm, but it’s still an active farm, so not spotless. On occasion we have friends drop by to hang out or camp and I grill or smoke meats and relax around a firepit. We’re hoping to find someone that is tidy and is interested in living in a co-op type household since we clean regularly and also are out planting and managing plants, chickens, and some bees. I am open to shorter term (1-2 months) at a higher rate of $1200-$1300 month, but will consider each situation.
