This listing is for 1 private bedroom and 1 shared bathroom in a single story detached house. Landlord (me) is living on site and uses the other bathroom. No vaping or smoking allowed indoors or near the house entryways. The rent doesn’t include the utilities (electricity and water ~$50). Quiet central AC/heat with MERV 13 filters. The floor is 100% tile (no carpet) and there is no outdoor shoe-wearing in shared spaces.
The house was built in 2020 with new appliances: dishwasher, clothes washer, dryer, refrigerator, oven. All kitchen tools are available for your use, with exception of other roomies’ storage space. You will be allotted a portion of the kitchen and fridge storage space. High-speed fiber internet is included (strong signal in all rooms and outside).
The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed. Your parking spot is in front of the house and/or a bicycle can be stored in the garage. The street is a safe and quiet dead-end. Pictures are slightly outdated. Video tour is available. Govt ID required and background check will be done (from my side. does not need to be done from roomies).
You would be the fourth (and final) roomie. We are all friendly, quiet, and clean. We do not tolerate smoke or vape indoors. We expect roommates to keep the common area clean and we prefer to use natural cleaning products. We have a pet rabbit who stays in the patio. Other roomie stays mostly in his bedroom. We run a robot vacuum and mop daily.
I work for an aerospace company. I am living in the master bed/bath with my partner, an engineer. We love traveling, video games and board games. We are both working in our early careers. We generally do not use the TV or living room as we stay in our bedroom. We only have friends over about once per month, on weekend.
You must provide advance notice on guests and the overnight guest limit is 4 nights per month. We prefer roommates without pets or children but exceptions can be made. Lease can be renewed. If you are interested in renting a room, we can have a conversation and go from there.
