Looking for a young professional female (NO COUPLES) to rent a 10x14 room upstairs in a split level 1300sqft townhome. The room has a private balcony with plenty of space for chairs, plants, or decor (5x14ft). There is a cedar-lined walk-in closet (6x6ft) and the bathroom is the upstairs “common” bathroom that would be 99% yours.

The home has an addition 20ft long deck that runs along the living room that has some chairs, plants, and grill which is great for a morning coffee. Above the living room is a loft that has a spare bed for the occasional guest. The garage has very limited space, but we could work some out if you need some storage. There are also multiple closets throughout the house. Utilities included (no cable TV). Plenty of parking near the home and generally a quite pleasant neighborhood.

Me, I’m a 42yo guy who works in Biotech and typical 9-5 type hours. I try to keep moderately busy either on projects at home (often in the garage) or doing something outside like the beach or a hike. I’m social but also I can find some reprise in solitude which I can do in my room downstairs and occasionally chill in the living room. I am generally very clean and organized. I consider myself a considerate roommate and enjoy making the home feel as though it is my roommate’s as well.

You, As mentioned, I prefer a woman, as it has kept a nice balance in the many years I’ve rented my space. This would not be the right fit if you need a place to harbor a boyfriend all the time, like to party in the evenings, expect to have get-togethers weekly, and there is no smoking in the association. Basically my home is pleasant and comfortable but not a party spot. Really hoping for a person that enjoys getting out of the house and is not on the couch for all hours.
