ROOMS FOR RENT Our household: Historied original farmhouse near SDSU. The land we are on is wooded, rustic and great for gardening. Home to cooperative living for 40 years!

We are 3 women one man, looking for 2 others (male or female) 50+ in age. We have 1 male neighbor in a basement apartment who uses the kitchen occasionally, and a meditation dojo on the premises.

Sorry, no couples, kids or pets.

First room: Master suite is a spacious double room with lots of windows and a small deck, overlooking our wooded backyard. Ideal for a person who works from home, as one part could be a bedroom and the other an office.
Own small fridge with shared full kitchen. Spacious closet area, no extra storage however. Share bathroom with one person.

$850 includes utilities, internet, laundry. +$850 deposit can be applied to last month’s rent. Month to month agreement, though we ask that you commit to 6 months after a mutual trial period.

Second room: Upstairs spacious room, sunny (south-facing.)

Ample closet space. However, no room for extra storage. $750 includes utilities, internet and laundry. +$750 deposit can be applied to last month’s rent. Shared full kitchen (gas stove) and laundry access. Share bathroom with two others. We prefer a 50+ mature person who gets along with others and is familiar with basic practices for cooperative living: 1 chore weekly, clean up after oneself, tolerance for other spiritual, cultural and political orientations.

We are interested in holistic, healthful living and eating and hope you are, too! We try to eat clean, do not use heavy perfumes or scents, and try to leave no negative marks on the environment. If you’d like to learn more, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Please, no argumentative patterns, no huge unresolved issues, no overnight guests, no parties, no smoking/drinking/drugs. We have no TV in the common areas.

You must have a steady income. Be clean, neat and considerate. We take Covid precautions. Please be vaccinated.

Our property is spacious, with potential to do gardening, music, massage or client work. You won’t feel confined, with all this beautiful outdoor space to explore.
