Two people are looking for a new person to come join our chill quiet home! Our master tenant got a great new job and is moving closer to work. This means the HUGE master bedroom is now open!

Treasure Island is a man-made island in the middle of the Bay Bridge. There is a coast guard base here and a couple hundred residents. Most of the front part of the island is a giant construction site but none of it is on the residential side.

Two of us live in a 2 story, 3 bedroom 2 and 1/2 baths townhouse on Treasure Island with one dog. We are very dog & cat friendly. We have parking, a backyard with a bbq, and beautiful views of San Francisco, Alcatraz, and Angel Island. We are literally less than a block from a walking path right by the water. It’s beautiful and tranquil here.

Our house is the corner unit. The master bedroom is HUGE and is very quiet and is much warmer than the rest of the house, as the hot water pipes lead through it (most of Treasure Island is very cold due to constant wind from the Golden Gate). The room is on the corner of the street- the last house on the street. It has a large, double walk in closet. The room comes unfurnished and has a large window with blackout curtains which you can keep or leave. The room also has its own ½ bathroom, with a toilet & sink.

All utilities such as electricity, garbage, sewer, and water are included into your rent. Washer and dryer are available in the unit, as well as Wi-Fi. Apartment has fully equipped kitchen- dishwasher, garbage disposal, large sink, gas stove, large refrigerator.

Details: We have a slightly overgrown backyard with a patio and some succulents, a few houseplants and lots of wine.

Must love animals & be absolutely LGBTQ+ friendly.

We are not crazy clean or crazy dirty- a happy medium. We pick up after ourselves and there is always a fresh supply of paper towels, toilet paper and detergent for all – I buy them in bulk for the house so there’s no conflict about who owes what; it’s all part of the rent.

If you smoke, you can do it outside of the apartment (we have a porch area and a backyard).

There is 24-hour bus #25 dedicated to Treasure Island and drops you off at the Transbay terminal downtown-the transportation hub to anywhere in the city, and the island is only a 15 minute drive to either side of the bay. There’s also a ferry dock that it looks like they’re ALMOST finished building.

There are 2 folks in the home. We both work full time, neither of us from home. I am a full time student as well, though, so work, school & dog take up most of my time! The other roommate works nights, so she is mostly in her room sleeping during the day. Both of us tend to go out to parties instead of bringing them home; we keep the house pretty quiet.

Overall we are very quiet and respectful of each other; we do not have people staying over all the time, but we’re ok with the occasional guest. We normally don’t party hard. We like to BBQ and have some friends over, play some board games or watch terrible cult horror movies, but no hardcore couch-locked drinkers/drugs in the living room.
