17th Avenue

Hi there! I have a spare, unfurnished room in a spacious 2-bedroom apartment - high ceilings, big kitchen and living room. The room is somewhat small, but can be very cozy. It has a closet (but no shelves). The 2 bedrooms are on separate ends of the apartment, separated by the hallway and the living room. The room gets a good amount of sunlight during the day.

The room is available for short-term renting, meaning it’s okay if you need it just for a couple of months.

The neighborhood is very quiet. I’ve been living here for 10 years and never felt unsafe coming home at any hour of the day or night. It’s usually rather easy to find parking around here.

The closes train is D (10-min walk) - 18th Ave station; B64 bus stops around the corner, and X38, X28 express busses that go to the city - 2 blocks away.

There is a pedestrian and cycling path by Gravesend Bay just 2 blocks away from the building, with the view of Verrazano Bridge, which is a great place to come for a run or simply to unwind. I go there for my daily sunset walk.

The apartment is usually peaceful and quiet. There is a big TV in the living room for movie nights.

Rent doesn’t include internet, gas and electricity and you’ll be responsible to pay a half of those bills, which will be around $100.

I am in my 30s, chill and friendly. I am looking for a female roommate to rent the room.

I am naturally positive and like peaceful environment. My mornings start with meditation and yoga (which I do in my room). I currently work from home. I have a small chihuahua Sammy. She is very loving and will want to hang out with you sometimes, so you must be okay with dogs.
