Unique opportunity to join the Venice Canal community with two bedrooms opening in a five bedroom older home.

The home features strong and generally reliable WiFi, a large open first floor kitchen/dining/living space, and outdoor deck areas on the first and third floors, and a canoe! The home and neighborhood is a short walk to the beach, library, Abbot Kinney, and numerous shops and restaurants. The house and neighborhood are quiet during the day during the week, and can become more social in the evenings and on the weekends. Convenient street parking is available. Shared utilities are not included.

The two rooms are:

A large bright first floor bedroom with West-facing windows, featuring a built in closet and shelving system. The room includes a bathroom across the hall and is painted in white with one yellow painted wall, and blonde wood-inspired laminate.

A large second floor bedroom with quiet East-facing windows, featuring a large nook that’s great for a small office or lounge setup, and a large closet with plenty of hanging space. The room includes a marble-finished jack and jill bathroom shared with the other second floor housemate. The room is currently painted in pastels and the floors are finished in a handsome dark wood grain laminate.

You’ll be joining three environmentally and socially conscious thirty somethings who have strong connections with the beach and Venice community. We are an architect/designer, a retail eyewear sales lead and soon to be full-time student, and an electric vehicle industry executive. We cook, surf, run, golf, and aspire to an increase in climbing, camping, and travel.

We are looking for friendly, respectful, interesting, and preferably environmentally and socially conscious housemates who can be a great fit for our shared house community and value proximity to the beach and the great and eclectic broader Venice community. We are not looking for couples or families at this time.
