Shippan Avenue

My housemates and I live in the Shippan / Cove Rd neighborhood of Stamford. My job is moving to in-person in North Carolina so we are looking to fill the 215 square foot bedroom in the house with someone fun, friendly, and easygoing.

It’s a huge unfurnished room on the first story of a four-bedroom house with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and tons of natural light. The room has two closets and can fit couches, a mini-fridge, a king-size bed, and dressers. Photos of the room are included in the gallery with all of my things in it. It’d be empty to move in.

You’d have a full bathroom basically to yourself outside the door. The other housemates tend to shower in their own bathroom upstairs.

There’s a large kitchen and open family room area with furniture and a fireplace which the whole house is free to use and does.

There’s a washer/dryer downstairs and the landlord even pays for bi-weekly professional cleaners to come by and keep the place looking fresh.

High-speed wifi and water are included in the rent but we all share the heating and electricity bill. It comes out to about $50 a month averaging the whole year.

We’re right next to a grocery store and a bunch of restaurants, a five-minute walk from Cummings Park and West Beach, and a fifteen min walk to the middle of downtown and the Stamford train station. There’s a bus stop outside the house and free parking up and down the street if you have a car.

My name is Adam and my housemates are Brian, Sarah, and Will. I work as a supply chain manager for a nonprofit. Brian is in his mid 30’s and rents private jets to VIP clients. Sarah is 30 and a full-time student and commercial truck driver.

Will is the baby. He’s 23, a biochemist, and was a semifinalist last season on American Ninja Warrior. He recently moved to Stamford to train for the next season of the show.

We’re all super friendly and love meeting new people, especially after all this isolation nonsense. You can absolutely have people over whenever as long as it’s not a rager every night.
