Three bed, two bath home in Friendswood with a room to rent for $775 per month is available. Utilities included in this flat monthly price (washer/dryer, water, electricity, wifi, lawn care, monthly house cleaning, and quarterly pest control).

The Room: The room has a closet and a window with Northern light. Bathroom is jack-and-jill with a rarely used guest room and the common space. I can furnish your room with a bed, dresser, desk, and TV if interested for an additional fee.

The House: Built in the 70s but recently updated with new kitchen, floors, windows, and appliances. BIG yard with plenty of grass and a lovely deck. Parking is available on the street or driveway. Common areas include kitchen and living area with a large sectional and TV. A separate living space has my home office and another common seating area. Blink security cameras installed. The neighborhood, Wedgewood Village, is adorable and friendly. Close to grocery stores and gyms (<5 minute drive to HEB, Kroger and Planet Fitness). The drive to I45 is about 10 minutes, making this a perfect neighborhood for anyone working in League City, Pasadena, Galveston or Houston.

About You: This room for rent is intended for a single person. I have no preference to gender but I would like someone responsible who is career oriented with a steady job. No smoking or cats. Dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Background check and a proof of income required.

About Me: I am a female architect in my late 20’s doing my best to maintain a 9-5 schedule while working from home. I spend my evenings doing remote graduate school- so I will be staying busy at home. Outside of work hours, I enjoy movies, games, socializing, and entertaining. I am rather crafty and will spend my free time doing a home improvement project. I do keep the home clean, and the common spaces furnished. I believe myself to be easy to live with and have always lived with close friends.

Your bonus roommate is Auggie, a super cute labradoodle puppy. He is 6 months old and loves to make new friends. While he is my responsibility, puppies are a test of patience; you should be comfortable with this new friend and all his training woes.

While I am not looking to fill this room quickly, I’d love to get the right fit roommate. Lease terms are flexible but would like to begin with a 3 month period.
