West Nelson Street

Hello!

I’m looking for a roommate to move in and sublet a room from January 1st to July 31st. Move in date is flexible as I’m open to having someone move in before the first but this would need to be discussed beforehand. I’m looking for someone employed, responsible and drama-free who is capable of keeping the space neat and tidy. I’m not too strict but I do like to keep the common areas clean and tidy and I’m seeking someone who values a clean living space as well. What you do in your room is your business but let’s keep the bathroom, living room, and kitchen (especially the sink) clean. I have a chubby cat who is very affectionate and friendly.

The unit is located on the ground floor of the 2900 block of W Nelson St. in an ideal location just a few steps away from the 77 and 52 buses, a few blocks away from the Belmont Blue Line station and right off the expressway. There are a 2 Jewel-Osco stores, 2 Walgreens, 2 Targets, an Aldi, and a Marianos all within a 2 mile radius. And a lot of cool hang out places and food spots.

This unit is a 2 and a half bedroom, I use one bedroom and the other functions as an office space/guest room and additional Storage area. The available room is average to small, is large enough to fit a king sized bed and a dresser in it but does not have a closet. I have an even smaller room with a decent closet, however that closet will be used for shared for storage. So I suggest bringing a dresser and brushing up on your folding skills, something to be aware of beforehand.

Please note*** ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED in rent (Gas, Electric, internet). Move in fee($250) and first months rent required before move in day. Non-Smoking Rooms.(Although I do smoke Hookah in the house often everything else is to be smoked outside) House Rules Apply (no smoking in the rooms, clean up after yourself, basically leave any shared room or product ready for the next person to use etc). I am renting a room to one person, not you and your significant other. Occasional overnight guests are fine of course. The kitchen has plenty of kitchenware you are welcome to use so long as you clean it after and leave it ready for the next person to use.

The room pictured above is currently furnished but roommate will be moving with her stuff so it will probably be empty. Looking to have someone move in by 01/01. If you’re interested please send mean email with a little bit about yourself and we can set up a time for you to come check out the place.
