Hello! I am looking for someone to join me in a gorgeous and recently renovated 1400 square foot 2 bed 1 bath in Dorchester for a September move in.

Definitely a dream of a place: shared fenced in yard, dining room, free laundry in basement with storage, open kitchen with updated appliances including dishwasher, an office/sunroom perfect for working from home, bright and open feel, and walking distance to the red line. Close to Dorchester park and the lower mill area with cute restaurants. Easy street parking (no permit required) or a garage space is available for $200 a month.

Rent is $2600 month, so $1300 a person. Water is included in rent so utilities would be gas, electric, and internet.

It’s a gas/steam radiator. (Please keep in mind previous tenets have been at home full time so numbers could change) Electric is consistently under $50 and gas is under $200 in the coldest months (Jan-Mar) and around $30 in the summer. The unit is connected to Verizon Fios currently at $80 for unlimited high speed internet.

Only first, last, security required (no broker/realtor fee!) so $3900 a person.

Looking for a working professional female roommate in their late 20s/early 30s. Since the apartment would be the two of us I value having a friendly relationship with my roommate, with mutual respect and communication. I’d love to form a true friendship but appreciate quiet alone time as well.

A little about me, I’m a vaccinated working professional (she/her) in the footwear industry in my late 20s. I have an 11 year old puggle, Bailey, who will be joining (no other pets sorry!). I love exploring the city, playing kickball, trying new restaurants, and enjoy movie nights at home. I like to keep common areas clean and organized and always open to game or wine nights with friends.
