Mary's room

This is a furnished bedroom in a home where my mother-in-law lives. She is in her 70s but very active and independent. The room has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, some dishes, a TV, closet, dresser, full size bed, lamp, and extra bedding. The house has a large garden with a patio out back as well as a room that opens up to the back yard, and you are welcome to spend time in those areas. Good location near Starbucks, Fred Meyer, Costco, Winco, Walmart, movie theaters, bowling, public transit, Washington Square mall, etc. About a 15 min drive to downtown Portland.

Karen has lived here alone for 21 years but is ready to have a roommate. She is very into her gardening and she grows cactus, succulents, and other plants in her greenhouse in the backyard. She is also interested in basket weaving and has made many baskets and other unique woven objects over the past 20+ years. She has a son and a daughter and 6 grandchildren and she is close to all of them and tries to see them often. She goes camping with them in the summer when she is able to.
