about the house: the room is located in a historical co-op house that’s sustainability and community oriented called Urth Haus, and you’d be living with 13 other ~fully-vaccinated~ adults who are super cool and friendly and share optional weekday dinners (and often make snacks!). There’s plenty of shared living space and office setups in the living room as well. Everyone does 5 hours of labor per week- which can include anything from gardening, cooking dinners, cleaning communal spaces, or various other house projects that can be matched to your interests! the house requires an application process consisting of a few short and lowkey questions , and then 2 in-person OR zoom dinners to meet the rest of the housemates.

about the room: The room i’m subletting is 230sq. ft. It’s a bright, open, fully furnished bedroom with a view of trees, a closet, a kitchenette(sink, drying rack, mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle+lot of tea), cabinets, and includes my work-from-home setup and my 7 lamps.

cost, transportation, etc: The rent is 722/month, which includes utilities, wifi, parking space, a lot of useful communal stuff, and communal vegan groceries. It’s a 12 minute bike ride from campus, or a 20-30 minute metro commute.

I have 13 other ~fully-vaccinated~ adults who are super cool and friendly! all of us have assigned labor positions, so there is almost always dinners on weeknights and snacks. vegan groceries come in the rent!
