Rent: $925/month + $900 security deposit Utilities: Usually range from $50-70/month The apartment is nice and spacious. We have an open plan for the kitchen/dining room, a separate den space, dishwasher and a 2-1 washer/dryer combo. Plus if you think that takes too long, there’s a laundromat right on the corner of our block. We’re on the top floor right next to Happy Fun Hideaway, Birdies, a great taco spot, a sweet liquor store and a Dollar Store. It’s a 5 minute walk from the Myrtle Broadway JMZ Express stop. Takes about 30 minutes to get into lower manhattan. The room itself is street facing, quiet for the most part unless it’s the weekend and gets a bunch of sunlight. It also has a pretty large closet! LGBTQ & POC household. We’re pretty chill and clean. We both work off-site, fully vaxxed, and are very covid-conscious and take all precautions. Neal’s a Spanish teacher at a high school and I’m a restaurant manager at LaGuardia Airport. Always down to hangout if we happen to be home at the same time, but we also both value our personal spaces and downtime.
