Miranda's room

The house has 3 bedrooms (one long term occupied, one guest room, one for you), 1.5 bathrooms (shared), washer and dryer, laundry chute, dishwasher, AC, fireplace, and a basement. Parking is done on the street, with no chance of overcrowding. There are four floors in total, with the former attic being an occupied bedroom, with plenty of room to hang around. There are a few things that have changed since the pictures were taken. Floating shelves have been installed in the kitchen on the wall with the sink. Large shelves and a bench with storage have been added to the dining room for additional storage (and a spot to sit by the window). The basement is now furnished as a hangout and gaming/TV area, with an extra full size fridge as storage. The bed frame in the room with green walls and a grey comforter (guest room) is broken, so the bed is on the floor for now. Some furniture has been added, and some had been shuffled from room to room. The large beige-ish bedroom with three windows, which would be yours, is empty and ready for your own furniture and decorating. Finally, a large Pride flag and Black Lives Matters sign have been added to the front of the house, and will not be moved, because all current tenants are LGBTQ+, including myself, and believe in the BLM movement, among others. Hello! My name is Miranda, and I am a 20 year old student at the University of Dayton. I have three cats that live with me (Scotchie, Walter, and Mudge) who are very affectionate. I am a pretty big nerd, especially about Harry Potter and Marvel/DC, but I know how to have a good time. I’m pretty reserved at first, but I get more outgoing the longer you know me. Fellow students are preferred, but anyone is welcome.

I have a few different jobs, including nannying, babysitting, petcare, care for disabled individuals, elder care, and baking. I am disabled, and sometimes use a cane to get around (damn you fibromyalgia), but I stay on top of my chores and find odd ways to adapt to my situation. I will warn that my friends are all neurodivergent and therefore are a tad strange and can be a bit much, but I have no issue limiting hangouts to either my room (1 floor above yours) or the basement (2 floors below your room). There is no pressure for you to be friends with my friends, but I’d be happy to introduce you if you’d like some new friends. My only real “hard no’s” are being hostile to minority groups, mistreating my cats, or just being an asshole. It’s also worth mentioning that I can’t be around smoke from cigarettes or weed due to health issues, but medical marijuana is completely fine.
