I’m looking for someone to take over the second room of my East Harlem 2BR apartment. I’ve done a couple of short-term rentals, and it’s pretty tiring, so I’d prefer someone willing to stay at least 3 months.

If you want to move out, please give me 30 days notice so that I can find a replacement.

The room is $850 + utilities (around $80 total —for electricity and internet) I’m not asking for a deposit, but am requesting a nominal $200 in exchange for the keys (once you move in on July 1 you could give me the other 650). I mostly am looking to avoid a situation where someone commits and then backs out at the last minute.

The apartment is two blocks away from the 6 train, around five minutes from the 4/5 and around 15 minutes from the 2/3 trains.

The room can come partially furnished (bed, desk, side table, curtains, some paintings, lamp). You’d be responsible for finding your own AC.

The nearest laundromat is a block away.

I’m a quiet, clean, and respectful person. I’m looking for someone similar (I’m really, really looking to avoid a situation where I have to tell someone to clean up after themselves)
