Nice area. Safe and relatively quiet. Fenced in backyard. Furnished room with adequate closet space. 10 min drive from the Pensacola downtown area. Amenities included with rent. Any other questions. Just ask. Disclaimer: I know most women would be quite hesitant about rooming with a man that they don’t know so I’ve completed the identification and background check to help alleviate some of those fears. This house is not isolated and I have neighbors on both sides of this place as well as in the back so perhaps that helps. Forgot to mention: your bathroom is semi-private. I have my own bathroom but it does not have a shower so that’s the only thing I would need access to. I also I have a washer and dryer you can use-within reason. Community kitchen and refrigerator. Just clean your dishes and you’re welcome to my groceries- just replace them in a timely manner. I don’t expect anyone to be a clean freak but if I walk by your room and see a bunch of dishes on the floor that look like they’ve been there for days then you’ll be paying for pest control if the cockroaches or mice suddenly appear.

I’m Chad (47 years old) and I live here with my English bulldog Auggie. He’s very good with people and children but doesn’t play nice with cats and certain dogs so an introduction will be necessary. No large dogs. I’m also a Registered Nurse and currently finishing up Nurse Practitioner school so quiet is a necessity. I’m fairly easy going as long as my roommates are reasonably clean, pick up after themselves, and are courteous/ respectful. I’m also a former US Air Force veteran so active duty or veterans welcome to contact me. Lastly, nothing creepy here, I prefer to room with women because they tend to be cleaner, more reliable, and less troublesome than most men in general. Note: I own the house so no worries about getting a last minute eviction notice. Anything else you’d like to know the just inquire. Please read: No male roommates. No exceptions. No couples. No kids and if your kids are just visiting then it will still depend on their age. Only women. I don’t care if you’re older or younger, gay or straight, or have a boyfriend or girlfriend. However, if you’re prone to having a drama fest with your significant other then that will be a problem. The first instance of your partner banging on my door at 3am in an intoxicated state will result in you packing your stuff the next day. No smoking. No exceptions. Even people who smoke outside trail that smell into the house. If you’re a marijuana smoker-you can’t smoke it here or on the premises. If you smoke it else where then that’s your business however no dealers allowed here. If you’re into harder drugs then I can’t have you here. And if you think you can fool me- think again. If you have any severe mental health issues that you’re not currently receiving treatment for then I can’t have you here. I work in psychiatry so I’ll pick up on it quickly. Lastly, I don’t expect people to follow my ideological preferences but if you’re one of these MAGA, anti-vaccine, or an agent of COVID disinformation then I don’t want you here. I know who and who I cannot get along with and that’s a deal breaker. Unless I’m 100% sure that the potential roommate is a good fit then I’m just not going to rent out the room. I know it seems overly picky but my house, my rules. Nobody wants to live with someone feeling like they’re walking on eggshells.
