Sadly my boyfriend and I have to leave our cozy little room in a 3 bedroom Greenpoint loft/duplex apartment. The room is perfect for one person, but we lived here as a couple quite comfortably. It will come with a mattress and an built-in closet, as well as a clothing rack. The kitchen/living room area comes with everything you need, including super high ceilings. You will be sharing the common area and the two bathrooms with two professionals. One has been living in the apartment for several years and there’s another person moving in this week. Our room is small and has quite low ceiling but a very big, bright window facing a quite backyard area. It’s super cozy, especially now that it’s getting colder. Perfect if you are out a lot. The apartment also comes with a super cute Yorkie, so you shouldn’t be allergic to pets. There is a gym, a pool table and laundry in the building and an incredible view of Manhattan’s skyline from the rooftop. You can easily reach the 7 and G train, there’s a several citi bike stations, grocery stores, mom and pops, liquor stores and tons of nice restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Since this is only a one month sublet you won’t really need anything except for the rent upfront.
