C.'s room

Room for rent in a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home near the Camarillo Outlets, Old Town, In-N-Out, and Trader Joe’s; easy freeway access.

Preference for 1 person (or one family group). Newly painted furnished room. Housemates have full access to the living and kitchen areas of the house, washer/dryer, as well as the yard. Single parents will be considered. Preferences: relatively quiet tenants, COVID- conscious housemates, preferably no pets though a cat will be considered (currently two cats in the house). No recreational drugs or smoking of any kind is permitted given sensitivity issues. Housemates are expected to keep their private spaces clean, and to assist with cleaning in common spaces. The room is 11’x12’ (pictured). Closet has shelving (not pictured) Bathroom is in the hallway, but will be private.
Preference for a minimum 3 month lease, but I will consider month to month. Verification of employment/ability to pay and background checks are required.

I am an educator with two college aged children (who visit occasionally to do laundry, during breaks, etc.). I am in and out depending on the day and my activities. It is a relatively quiet household (except for the occasional game night) with two resident indoor cats and a CSUCI graduate student.

A bit about me: I enjoy hiking, archery, and reading. I like gardening, but I am not very good at it. My COVID quarantine project was installing a Nancy Drew themed lending library in the yard.
