About the room
The room is upstairs on the west side of the house. Large window with a great view of the mountains and is also very private with no neighboring windows or sidewalks. Shared bathroom with the master bedroom. It is a “water closet” style bathroom with the sink area separated from the toilet/shower/bath by a door. The sink has extra counter space but it only has one sink.
I LOVE this house.. It is a ground-level split-level so no stairs in or out the back door. Very big front and back yard. I have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Blush and Fable, who are extremely well behaved and even more so loving. I’m strictly looking for a roommate that doesn’t have a dog. Two large dogs is plenty for the house/yard space.. sorry. The backyard (north side) is my/our paradise and I have many flowers shrubs and young trees to enjoy. Large back patio with a small fire-pit. I do an all natural yard that I spend hundreds of hours in caring for my flora and fauna. My yard is an unconventional oasis for creatures to find refuge, you included. The main floor is basically entirely open. The living-room is huge with high ceilings as well as the dining and kitchen. the kitchen is large with ‘a lot’ of cabinet and pantry space. Washer and drier. AC and Heat but we have almost never used the AC except during the fires last year. It is a very efficient breathable home. THE BIGGEST DRAWBACK is there is VERY little storage space so the two-car garage is where almost all extras are stored. Two car driveway and plenty of parking on the street.
Area: Quiet cul-de-sac right off of drake near Overland. Phenomenal neighbors of all young families and an older couple. We are all tight-knit and friendly. Two blocks from Spring Canyon Park. Five minutes to Horsetooth Lake. 15-20 minutes to Poudre Valley. Groceries, liquor, gas, etc., nearby.
About the roomies
The roommates at the moment are my two Ridgebacks and I. I am very respectful and friendly. I am organized and mostly clean.. I say that because I have two dogs with toys and bones. I also treat this place like an actual home like my roommates are family so there may be a jacket or similar things draped over a chair. Just little things but never in the way of anyone else here. I have had very destructive and loud roommates for years before the wonderful ones leaving in May and am always weary at first. I have expensive belongings and fine art that mostly resides downstairs with me for safety. All I really want is a good hearted person who likes to enjoy each other and is respectful, fun and clean.
