Hi! Great room opening up in my 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment at the beginning of November. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor at AVA Pacific Beach. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. The complex is very nice with amazing amenities including a newly remodeled gorgeous pool area equipped with couches, flat screen TVS, BBQ grills, cabanas and a huge jacuzzi. There is also an awesome on-site 24-hr gym with all new equipment, a clubhouse (with TV’s, pool tables, video games) and multiple different sports courts… ALL right here in Pacific beach near beautiful Crown Point- just blocks from the bay and a half mile from the ocean. Very social community, with all kinds of age ranges. Pet lovers dream….even has a pet spa to wash the pups after a day at the beach! The room available will be unfurnished, with large sliding glass door that leads out onto a spacious patio, with gorgeous views. Current roommate who is moving out owns most of the living room furniture so if you’d like to bring any home furnishings, feel free. The current lease will end mid march, so I’m looking for someone who can stay at least until then. If you would like to renew the lease we can do so at that point :)

About me: I am a thirty year-old transplant from Sacramento. I recently left my job as a firefighter further north and moved to San Diego to take my career to the next step and become a paramedic. I am currently applying for paramedic programs beginning in January. I work full-time at two restaurants in Pacific Beach. Although I am a bartender I do not live the party lifestyle. Work is hectic and I enjoy a calm, clean, peaceful household with a mellow positive vibe. Prefer non-smokers, please. I have a very straight forward personality who appreciates open communication and a good sense of humor. I love animals and am the proud dog mom of an adorable boxer mix. He’s a super sweet goofball that gets along with everyone, both humans and other dogs. I’m big on socializing him, and take him to doggie daycare on the days I have long hours. I welcome the idea of having another dog around the house, given its friendly, potty trained and isn’t a big barker. Large breeds welcome.

About you: I would like to find someone in their mid twenties to mid thirties (working in public service, EMS, military, fitness or healthcare is a plus). Although age is just a number, you must be financially responsible and willing to keep the common areas of the apartment tidy and contribute to keeping the place clean.

Rent is $1,190 each plus standard utilites split down the middle. No deposit required, just first month’s rent to move in!!! You will need to be added to be approved through the leasing office so decent credit and verifiable income is necessary.
