One bedroom with own bathroom available in a 3br/3ba house with fenced in yard on large, sunny lot. 5 minute drive to I-25; short walk to Rotary Park and downtown Bernalillo. Two separate living rooms, shared with two other housemates. Fireplace. Large kitchen with plenty of cabinet space and pantry. Washer & dryer; dishwasher; swamp cooler.

Month-to-month lease with possibility of longer lease agreement upon finding person who is a good fit for the space. Brief, friendly and formal bi-monthly house meetings regarding coordination of shared space and house maintenance/logistics.

Looking for someone who is mindful of local and regional history and respectful of community. Current two housemates work full-time, keep the house clean and uncluttered, and nurture plants and trees in the house and yard. We both enjoy our privacy – time and space to ourselves – while also welcoming casual conversation and spontaneous/infrequent meal shares. Basically, we keep our own schedules and personal lives separate, though are flexible and friendly to the realities and possibilities in inhabiting a shared living environment.

The seven year old cat who lives here is a former stray and is not the most sociable kitty, is a little shy/skittish though not hostile to people or other animals. We’re open to the possibility of living with another cat or dog and finding ways to make the situation work, depending upon sense of compatibility.

Looking for a third housemate who is independent yet community-minded and interested in having some casual conversations, while also having independent vision and goals plus their own financial, emotional and social support systems in place.
