About the place: 2 bed, 1 bath on the 3rd floor of a beautiful historic building right on the Dempster-Main mile. Trader Joes, Jewel, train stations only a couple blocks away. The lake is about a mile walk away. It is outside the NU parking restriction if that is a consideration. Street parking readily available (and no Evanston wheel-tax sticker needed either).

Apartment is fully furnished sans the open bedroom. A huge benefit is that I have pretty much anything you could need for cooking, housewares, and workout. I include access to the Netflix account. I do have a couple items I can lend if need be (couch, bed frame). Huge closets and basement storage available. Smarthome lighting features. Utilities typically run around $60 per month and a bit more in summer month for window AC units. We only pay internet/tv, gas (cooking only), and energy.

You would be sharing the apartment with a beautiful, well-mannered, non-barky dog and a cat (that mostly stays in my room). I’d be open to another cat if necessary as long as it does not claw furniture or pee outside the litterbox. I keep the place pretty clean, but am not fussy/persnickety about cleanliness. I just ask to keep common spaces in decent shape. 420 okay.

About me: 35yo female. I am now working from home indefinitely. I enjoy reading, nature, working out, music, travel, cooking, sports, and any new activity/craft. Good communication is a must. My past roommates would describe me as easy to live with and generous.
