Bedroom available for rent in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with outdoor space, storage and bonus room. Kitchen, livingroom, Bonus room, bathrooms and bonus room are shared with only one other person: me! The house is located 2 blocks from multiple bused that take you to port authority or all over Jersey City and surrounding areas. (About a 15-20 min bus ride to midtown) Three blocks from the light rail to the path train. Tons of great cafes, bars, restaurants and shops within a half mile radius. Two blocks from a big park. Parking may be available Jan 1 for an extra fee.

About me: I’m a teaching artist who sometimes works from home in my art studio. I love art, nature, hiking, movies, animals and wine. I’m vegetarian but don’t expect my roommate to be (though that would be really cool.) I’m pretty quiet and like to keep the house clean. I occasionally have a friend or two over for a movie or coffee but can usually entertain in my room. I’m a social and friendly introvert. :) I hope to find a roommate I can occasionally hang out with but who also likes their own alone time and space too.

I have a small dog, so you must be comfortable around dogs. Shes very friendly but very skittish. haha Ideal roommate is clean, considerate, mature, friendly and responsible. I’m allergic to cats and landlord will only allow my dog. Small pets like a hamster, bird or turtle should be okay.
