About the room
About the room: It is very spacious, with two huge 3/4 length windows, a high ceiling, and tons of closest space. The room comes furnished with a sturdy Ikea bed frame, a modern working desk, and a wooden Ikea piece that works perfectly as a nightstand. There is a huge amount of open wall space as well for hanging.
About the apartment: The living room is open and spacious, and attached to a fully stocked kitchen, and the bathroom is also large and bright.. The super is really friendly, and always helpful/prompt. There’s also an elevator (you’d be on the 5th floor). There is a large laundry room in the basement as well.
About the area: Just steps off of Nostrand Avenue, and a 5 minute walk to the Nostrand Ave. A/C subway stop. Lots of great restaurants, coffee shops, and bars nearby. Good grocery options. Brooklyn Museum/Prospect Park within walking distance too.
About your potential roommate: Laid-back, hands-off Englishman in my early 30s, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology while also doing freelance events work all over the city. I like to keep busy, either at home writing, cooking, Netflixing (that counts), or out and about enjoying the neighborhood!
