I ask that the roommate be a firm non-smoker. I ask they make an effort to clean up after themselves in the kitchen and living room. Nothing hospital grade clean, just tidy your dishes and counters regularly. I ask that the roommate pay the rent and be professionally responsible for what they sign up for. Unpaid rent will quickly become a problem.

I ask for a professional relationship entirely. Bring no drama here. Act cordial and polite in our common areas. I am not a confrontational person. My 3 teenage kiids will visit me occasionally on weekends. Sex offenders need not apply.

Persons who have a current credit report Judgement for housing/lease infractions should explain a good reason. My last roommate lived here for 3.5 years, I am hoping for 1 year+ or more but I do understand that this is a difficult time right now and have adjusted my expectations. I am not keen on very short term leases (1-3 months). No couples. Sorry.

I ask that rent be paid in full on the first of every month. The rent is late on the 5th.
