Kitchen (main floor) and laundry (downstairs) are shared with basement tenant. All other spaces in the basement are private.

Current housemate rents the basement (1bed/1bath) and shares the kitchen and laundry. Gay male, mid-fifties, works from home as a designer for the publishing industry. He is quiet, clean and respectful of shared space. A gardener and a great cook, he primarily keeps to himself except to cook a few times a week. He has his own bathroom and full-size fridge downstairs which makes for the feeling of living alone aside from some occasional overlap in the kitchen. He takes care of shoveling in the winter and leaf clean up in the fall.
