Saddle Rack Street

Hello! My boyfriend and I are looking for a roommate to occupy the 2nd bedroom in a 2 bed/2 bath condo in west San Jose. The place is near the Race Street VTA station and the Diridon station is a little over a mile away. The kitchen, living room, and back patio area would be shared spaces. The bedroom and 2nd bathroom would be all yours. This room is ideally for one person (but we are okay with overnight guests, like one or two days a week). We can consider a couple, but the rent in that case will be $1,500. The room can fit a queen sized bed, a desk, and a dresser. There is an armoir with shelves and a place to hang clothes. There will be a refundable security deposit of $1,000.

We also have a 12 pound chihuahua mix dog named Chanel. She can occasionally be a loud barker, but she doesn’t bark all day and she sleeps quietly through the night. I’ve been working from home, so she’s usually with me (she will only be interrupting my Zoom meetings, not yours). Otherwise, she’s not destructive, is housetrained, and loves people, sleep, and cuddles. Sorry, but we don’t want anymore animals in the house.

The room is available now and we’re flexible on the start date. We’d prefer a 6-month lease, but can talk about your situation.

About us in particular, we like running, hiking, snowboarding, and concerts/music festivals (when we’re not going through a pandemic!). I’m 28, he’s 32. We are full-time professionals. We would like to live with someone that has similar interests and age range, but we will also respect your time and space.
