Bob and Barb offer a fully furnished room with a twin bed, work table and chair, closet space and additional storage with 3 windows! The bathroom is shared with one other and the living room, dining room, kitchen porch and backyard are common areas that the family shares. This is all inclusive with WiFi, washer and dryer, dishes and linens. This home is located in the beautiful historic Park Hill neighborhood of Denver and is just 4 blocks from the Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science. They are very close to the #20 bus stop, making the commute to area schools easy. Johnson and Wales University is just 10 minutes by bus, and other area schools, such as CU Denver, and Spring International are just 30 minutes by bus! This home offers a quiet, calm environment. Each room is single occupancy. Smoking, drug and 420 Free. Light drinking is accepted. Overnight guests allowed with prior homeowner agreement. All guests and hosts are vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus and background checked. All guests are pet free.
Experienced host family (over 40 years)invites an International/American student/professional to join them and one other guest in their established, comfortable home. Bob and Barb co-founded Spring Intnl’ school, Barb is an English teacher/trainer and both know multiple languages! There are 2 family cats that live outside by day, but are inside at night. They would welcome a guest who might enjoy family meals, joining them in conversations, outings, trips within CO, hiking, cross country skiing, formal and informal dinners with friends, inclusion in community activities, concerts, and movies. Bob and Barb are very supportive, they enjoy helping with English, some homework and even resumes. For an optional additional fee of $200 you can enjoy shared cooking: for fun, culture, community and English language acquisition. Great for international person as they love being the “American family” for their guest.
