East 83rd Street

Looking for a female roommate (24-30) for a spacious bedroom in large 3 bedroom wall up, Upper East Side (1 block from the Q), August 1 move in.

Hi, My name is Karin and my roommate Esther and I are two working professional females in our mid-late twenties. Our roommate Megan is moving out August 1st and we are looking for a clean, responsible and nice female roommate to replace her for the remaining 11 months of our lease:

RENT DETAILS: $1300 per month (NO FEE), + security deposit (1 months rent) and utilities ($40-$60 a month depending on the time of year). Lease ends July 1st, 2018 with an option to re-sign.

THE ROOM/NEIGHBORHOOD: The room is the largest in the apartment, big closets and centrally located. We live in a 3rd floor walk up on a quiet block in the Upper East Side (83rd and 3rd ave.), one block from the 2nd avenue subway (10 minutes to midtown). We are also very close to the 4,5,6 train, near a ton of grocery stores, restaurants, gyms, shopping and are equidistant from Central Park and the East River Park. We also have a shared spare room and huge hall closets to share. We don’t have laundry in the building, but there is a laundry mat literally steps from the apartment.

The apartment is fully furnished (we just repainted to white and got a brand new sofa, flat screen TV with Apple TV and rug) and have a fully stocked kitchen. You would just need your bedroom furniture.

THE BUILDING: I am the primary leaseholder and have lived in this apartment and neighborhood for 5 years. The building is quiet, good neighbors (mostly other 20 something working professional females) with a responsive landlord.

THE ROOMIES: We are both clean and like to hang out during the week and relax over wine or shows.

Karin- working professional (29). I work in advertising, love to run in the park, cook and sing for a church in the Upper East Side.

Esther- Mid twenties, project manager for Capital One corporate, loves to cook and chill with TV.
