Precita Avenue

Large, unfurnished room with hardwood floors offered in a beatiful, rent controlled, 3rd story walk up apartment on Precita Avenue off of Mission Street; accessible to Precita Park, Bernal Hill, and all forms of public transit. Street parking is relatively easy and requires a residential paid parking pass. It’s a 3 BR/split bath, with a living room, washer/dryer, storage, large backyard, and all the things that make it a unicorn of an SF flat. Our building has two other units with great neighbors, with whom we share the backyard (you can join the garden project!). We are a multicultural building and neighborhood, and strive for good relationships with our neighbors. We really love this neighborhood! The landlord allows for one pet with a deposit, though things like litter boxes would not be welcomed in shared spaces. Also given our proximity to neighbors, a super vocal pet would cause undue hardship. A mellow and well cared for animal would be considered. Please only message us if you have a thoughtful profile that we can read. If we have made the effort to present ourselves, our expectations, wants and needs, we would like for you to as well. As women, it’s disconcerting for strangers to send us messages about sharing our home without presenting any information about themselves whatsoever.

We’re a couple of friendly, funny, and conscious women in their 40’s, in a household that is both fun-loving and clean/orderly. We are both professionals and long time Burning Man seasonal staff, and our household is very kind and communicative. Housemates are expected to help maintain a consistently clean and tidy place. We normally stay pretty busy, but we are observing Covid 19 best practices and expect a housemate to as well. Essential workers are welcomed, but house guests are not, for now. We look forward to being social and having guests again when it’s advisable.
