About the room
I am looking for a roommate to fill a 2 Bed/ 2 Bath apartment in Crystal City. It is .3 miles from the Crystal City metro stop and a few blocks from Pentagon City. Whole Foods, Costco, many restaurants, and the mall are all within walking distance. The current rent for the room is $1,150 a month (Plus utilities, energy, and internet). I was fortunate to get into an apartment which had been locked into a lower rate for several years and COVID helped keep the rate very low for this area. This 12 month lease begins 9/23/21, but there is some flexibility with the move-in date. We can potentially accommodate late August.
The building: This room is in the Paramount (https://www.theparamountapt.com/). The building has a roof, a gym, and a nice cocktail lounge. Pets are allowed, but they cost extra. Parking is also available.
The room: I have attached a few images and the floor plan. You would be taking over the smaller of the two rooms but there is extra space in the living room area and also a second closet you can use. The second bathroom holds the washer and dryer.
A bit about me: I am a 29-year-old guy who grew up in NY before attending American and Georgetown, and now I’m yet another DC consultant. I’m a fairly social, extroverted person, so I would love to find a roommate who is compatible with that. I get a lot of my fulfillment from hobbies- especially music- so I have a few instruments at the apartment, but I’m considerate. I’m also a huge film buff, so if you enjoy a good movie night or binge watch, we’ll definitely click. I’m a regular at trivia nights, concerts, and enjoy a good hike, but when I’m not in adventure mode I’m definitely lounging hard at home.
** You can potentially start the lease earlier than 9/23 if that is preferable, I would just need to coordinate with you**

Pre-COVID I’d be a regular at trivia nights and concerts, but I would say that nowadays I can be more of a homebody when I’m not out with people.
