West Dakin Street

I am looking for a roommate in my great Lakeview apartment. It’s a three-minute walk to the red line, and it’s a 20-minute red line ride to downtown. Great for daily commuters! I have a HUGE family room with a cozy futon for out of town guests. The futon opens up into a bed that sleeps two guests. I also have a sofa, a love seat, and an armchair in the family room. Tons of storage space in the apartment – you would have a closet in your room plus a huge closet in the hallway that I don’t use. Water is free and heat (and cooking gas) is included in the rent. We only pay for electricity and Internet (we can add cable if you want – we have Netflix and Chromecast). Utilities will be about $55/person, unless we add cable, then it will be a little more.

My street is neighborly, quiet, and safe. I have lived in my apartment for three years and I love it. You can walk everywhere here – I’m a short walk away from Wrigley Field. Plenty of grocery stores are a quick walk away: Target, Aldi, Whole Foods, and Jewel Osco. Awesome little shops and restaurants are also nearby. I can give great advice on restaurants and things to do, if you’re new to the neighborhood. My building has a gym and a laundry room super close by.

Move-in date: June 1, 2017, but you can probably move in during Memorial Day weekend when my roommate is moving out.
