Hey friends. If you like to be by the water, near Oceanside, Long Beach, etc, but still have plenty of parking and quiet, then I invite you to take a look at my room for rent! It’s 1,300 (Utilities included!). There’s two rooms, a massive kitchen, living room, rear deck overlooking the water, a garage, parking and a shed. I’m in the master bedroom, which cost me 1,700 a month. If you want to take the bigger one, it’s certainly an option as I’m only 5’6 (and a half!) haha.

Hey I’m Jared,
I am the Yelp Community Manager for Long Island so when I am not working or trying new restaurants, I am usually out being active (biking, basketball, trying to learn to surf, guitar, art, etc). I am a native New Yorker, having rented in New Hyde Park for the last four years with friends (lease under my name), but am finally ready to fulfill my Pisces dream and move by the beach. Looking to team up with the right housemate so we can split a pretty nice place together.
To be fully transparent, I chose not to ask my current roommates/friends to move along w/ me because they’ve grown too comfortable over the last year (ignoring their day for trash, leaving dishes in the sink, bringing the party home too often, etc). I still value a good time however my undergrad and grad school years are long over and I’d like to join forces with someone who also values a clean, respectable place to call home.
I have lived with people of all genders and I don’t have a preference. I always treat others the way I like to be treated and I do the same with my things as well. I have some furniture that I can bring to the table (ah.. no pun intended) and also have various useful kitchen and gardening items too.
