About the room
I’m subletting a room in my Sacramento, River Park home for $950 a month, utilities and wifi included.
The room is fully furnished, photos are current.
The neighborhood is a very quiet, nice/upscale residential part of Sacramento called River Park. I’m four blocks from the river and within 10 minutes from multiple hospitals.
I live in the house with my young daughter and here’s what’s unique about the household thanks to COVID:
- There are two little ones with my nanny M-F in a non-shared part of the home.
- I have a very sweet dog with three legs who will try to abandon me for your attention. MUST LOVE DOGS but I’m not accepting any additional pets, sorry!
- The bathroom is only partially shared (toilet/sink) but the shower wouldn’t be shared unless I get an additional tenant for the 4th bedroom at some possible point in the future.
- Out of caution for COVID, my preference is to only have one tenant but it’s a possibility that I may add one more at some point in time.
House Details:
- I keep the house at 73 degrees in the summer. We get A LOT of sun so this is what helps keep the whole house stay comfortable. It can get cool in the back bedrooms.
- I cook A LOT.
- I’m pretty laid back and am also fairly accommodating.
- I’m hoping for a good fit personality-wise (not looking for a loud and crazy person who still needs to party and thinks it’s fun to bring strangers home five nights a week).
- There is a young child in the house so ideally, someone who generally loves kids (and dogs) would be a great fit. I won’t ever ask you to babysit though.
In summary it’s a beautiful home with a unique living situation because of COVID and I’m hoping it’ll be mutually beneficial for someone out there.
***Will need a copy of your hospital contract (if you’re a traveling nurse), a current paystub as proof of income (you can block out the ssn) and at least two recent rental references.
$500 deposit required to hold the room along with a signed rental contract.
About the roomies
I’m a 43 year old single mom who cooks really good food all the time.
I’m involved in dog rescue and used to take in hospice dogs but needed a break from that.
